Ugandan Water Project is a humanitarian organization providing safe drinking water to communities in Uganda in the form of rainwater catchment systems, what we call water projects. In addition to meeting this essential need, we believe that life-change happens in the context of relationship. UWP sends teams to Uganda three times a year to follow up on recent water project installations, which include Sawyer PointONE filters. While water projects are installed and managed by our Ugandan partners, our teams help build a bridge between the US and Uganda. Our main purpose is to come alongside our Ugandan friends to encourage and empower them to reach their full potential, thus creating positive change in their families, businesses, and communities. Two Sawyer PointONE filters are included in each water project installation. In addition, our teams bring Sawyer PointONE Bucket Adaptor Kits to the villages and communities we visit in country and teach local community members about the filtration process and how to use and maintain the filters.
