The Club’s mandate shall be to encourage under-represented parties of STEM from grades Secondary 1 to CEGEP across Montreal to pursue their passion through teaching and mentorship and to provide access to STEM education to under-developed countries for ages 10-13. This mandate’s goal is to create a more even playing field in STEM representation and to give Concordia students the tools to become future educators, lecturers and professionals through developing technical skills to compliment their theoretical training along with proper communication tools and sense of community.During the pilot trip to Haiti in August 2019, the team found the kids to be dehydrated and with these filters, we hope to eradicate unclean drinking water in all of the school children’s household for years while we raise funds to build a well.
